Charles David Gingras “Charlie”
Charles was born in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan on January 7, 1947. He passed away peacefully at the Loon Lake special care home on June 18, 2020 at the age of 73. He is survived by his son Lee (Lisa), brothers Roger (Vanessa), Robert (Dana) and Donald, sisters Louise and Julie (Al), his grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Charlie was predeceased by his parents Roland and Agnes Gingras. Raised on the family farm in the community of Cabana, Charles enjoyed the lifestyle farming had to offer. When he was able, he followed in his father’s footsteps taking over the operation and making it his own. This is something he always took great pride in. It was also a place where neighbours and friends were always welcome, forming lasting friendships over the years. Always willing to lend a hand or share a drink with. Truly one of a kind, he will be fondly remembered by all that knew him. A private memorial service will be held on August 29, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Woodlawn Cemetery. However, online links will be provided to all that are unable to attend.
