To Bernadette, Sharon Fyke and your families. We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Fred. Our thoughts are with you during this time and we wish to send you our sympathy and comfort. It has been a long time since the 70’s and 80’s when we shared a great friendship. Starting with all the good times we had in Govan during our school years and then as we moved into Regina to begin the next step in our lives. During all those years our passion for curling provided us with such great fun, competition and the opportunity to travel and meet hundreds of people from all walks of life. Many of those became good friends. I will always treasure those years for the bond of friendship and competition we experienced. As Fred moved off to Goodsoil he began a new chapter of his life and I know you too will have many happy memories of your good times with Fred. He was a happy and good natured guy.

It was a shock to learn of Fred’s passing this week from Sharon. My heart goes out to Bernadette and Sharon and their families. As cousins and classmates in the Govan Class of 1974, we never thought of getting old! So many many stories....from growing up together to college and early career years in Regina.....and most sadly to losing touch as the years snuck by. I know, Fred, that you will be greatly missed by those close to you....please know that you will also be missed by everyone else you touched in your life! God Bless.

Bernadette, Sharon, I was saddened to hear of Fred's passing. We shared fun and laughter during the time we roomed together, curled and socialized. Many good times were had by all. We can all cherish those memories. My condolences Bernadette and Sharon and families.

Bernadette - Deeply sorry to know Fred has left this world and all he held so dear in his heart - namely you. Sharon - our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. So many fond memories - his sense of humor, his twinkly eyes, golfing, family gatherings and the list goes on; all, now to be held close in your heart and called upon whenever you feel him near - enfolding you in love. All our love - Bob, Carol and family. May perpetual light shine upon him always!
