CREMATION

Harry was born on August 28, 1936, in Loon Lake Hospital to Paul and Lydia Hein. He attended school at Deer School through grade 8. After completing grade 8 he worked with his Dad on the farm. In the early 1950's Harry went to work for his lifelong friend and Brother-in-Law Arthur Krueger on the oil rigs. After a brief time, his Dad became ill and asked him to return to the farm. Harry then left the rigs and returned to help run the family farm. Harry purchased his first quarter of land in 1960, he also met his wife Arlee at a dance in Loon Lake the same year. Harry and Arlee fell in love and were married on August 10th, 1962. Their first child Deborah was born in December that same year but passed away shortly after birth. Harry and Arlee were blessed with Brad in 1964, Trevor in 1965, Shelly in 1967 and Darla in 1971. Harry purchased Loon Lake Service in 1988. Harry and Arlee farmed and ran the garage until 2006. In 2006, Harry and Arlee sold their farm and moved to Jumbo Beach. Harry and Arlee continued to run Loon Lake Service until their retirement. In retirement, Harry continued to support his community as a guard for the RCMP until a hip replacement at age 80 forced him to stop. Harry continued to help Son Brad and Daughter-in-Law Nicole out on their farm until his health no longer allowed it. Harry was diagnosed with cancer in 2019. He fought this disease with a positive attitude right until his death on September 4th, 2021.
