Kathy Roth of Goodsoil Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on January 30, 2020 at the age
of 85. Kathy was born in Dallas, Texas in 1934 to Helen and Lowell Cooper. She was
predeceased by her husband, Frank Roth, her parents, Helen and Lowell Cooper and her
brother, Marion Cooper.

Kathy moved to Canada in 1972 after meeting Frank Roth. They were married in December
that year, and spent the next 19 years farming in Goodsoil until his death in 1991. She
remained on the family farm until 2010 when she entered the L. Gervais Memorial Health
Centre.

Kathy loved all animals, especially cats and dogs, and was a passionate supporter of wildlife
conservation. She was a gate attendant at Meadow Lake Provincial park (Lac des Isles and
Waterhen gates) for 20 years and spent many hours watching the wildlife as she worked. Kathy
liked to be active and was often seen taking long walks by the family farm.

At Kathy's request no service will be held. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian
Cancer Society.
