I am the son of Alfred and Rose Schlunegger who ranched in Island Hill from 1944 to 1975, or thereabouts. I knew Arlene and Verna and met Art a few times during my visits to ML. I always enjoyed meeting him. I'm relieved to know that he lived a long, healthy and happy life. I have always felt sad that Verna died so young. They were all good people. My condolences to the family.
