Home: By Lorrie Church
Verse: Growing up in this old house 16 kids there is no doubt Mamas workin hard to raise her family

Washing clothes on the washing board, supper is on and Daddy brings conversation to the table... How was your day

With 8 girls and just 8 boys sometimes it makes a real long day with fightin' boys and screamin' girls, Mamas patience ran so thin, but Mamas lovin' hand somehow would
wipe the tears and make us grin

Chorus: We'll take the kids for a Sunday drive stop by the park to watch the slide into the future holdn' onto the past
Throw a pitch we'll make 1st base but not 2nd, 3rd became the race kick the can and slide on home

Verse: Now were all grown up and gone, Daddy's life in a memory box Mama's watching the grand kids grow from pitter patter to jump hop scotch, Cowboys and Indians the war had now jus begun

Refrain to Chorus

Bridge: Ring around the rosary, pocket full of possies,
lundon bridges they do fall down but theres nothing like home
