Condolence:
I am the son of Alfred and Rose Schlunegger who ranched in Island Hill from 1944 - 1960. A man we called Jonas worked for my dad a few winters hauling hay to feed the cattle. He had a son called Johnny, born about 1945, who was my young buddy, and with whom I spent many happy hours. I remember Jonas as a very nice, kind and gentle man. May he rest in peace, and may Johnny, wherever he may be, have a happy and rewarding life.
